Police were called about a shoplifting that occurred at Kids Foot Locker, 2100 Hamilton Place Blvd. She said it had her Social Security number with it as well. Sometime afterwards, she realized she didn't have it and she's not sure where or when she lost it. At this time there is no further information nor witnesses in regards to the suspect.Ī woman told police she last had her CARTA bus pass with her while at the Walmart at 490 Greenway View Dr. She said she would get in contact with her neighbor across the street who might have video footage of the incident, due to having a camera facing in the direction where the incident occurred. She said she remembers seeing a person wearing black shorts and a blue windbreaker jacket walking on the road by her residence. she noticed the rock beside the vehicle and the damage. After she heard the noise, she walked out but did not see anything alarming at the time. the night before she heard a bang outside of her residence. She said that at approximately 11:30 p.m. She said she believes the rock was the one used to cause the damage to her vehicle. Police observed the damage on the vehicle and a rock on the ground beside it. The suspect vehicle in that incident was possibly a dark colored Honda Accord.A loss prevention associate at Walmart, 3550 Cummings Hwy., told police they wished to document an attempted theft of merchandise. a male was traveling on Route 2 at West 45th Street exit when a vehicle displaying police emergency-type lights pulled him over, the suspects robbed him at gunpoint of his vehicle. in the area of 152nd Street and Lakeshore Avenue, a male was approached and pulled over by suspects in a dark-colored Jeep Grand Cherokee displaying police emergency-type lights, and was then robbed at gunpoint. in the 3200 block of West 65th street, suspects driving a Volkswagen SUV displaying police emergency-type lights pulled over and robbed victims of property at gunpoint. in the 3000 block of West 48th Street, suspects driving a Kia Sportage displaying police emergency-type lights pulled over and robbed victims of property and a vehicle at gunpoint. A Black Jeep Cherokee also appeared to be involved. The suspect vehicle is described as a brand new Black Dodge Durango with heavily tinted windows and black vehicle accessories and temporary tags. While driving to the police station, the suspect vehicle went another direction. The victim called 911 and remained on the line with dispatch as he drove to the Third District police station. The victim further stated that the suspect brandished a firearm and was wearing a ballistic vest. in the area of Broadway Avenue and Blanche Avenue, a victim reported he was driving and was followed by a vehicle, which utilized police-type lights to attempt to pull him over.
